I have to admit to kicking off my reading of the newest edition of 1,000 Areas to See Before You Die by Patricia Schultz with a slightly negative attitude. “Chatsworth House, hmm? Blenheim is significantly better.” And then five or six pages later, there is Blenheim – this author’s reading my mind! Getting a trip around the English bend on your own maiden voyage is quite impossible without getting a map of London. If you are quite unfamiliar with the roads then the best thing that you can do is to get more oriented with geography and the roads in it as well. It’s ok to admit a being a little bit of a hapless case. It’s far better than getting lost.
